The big wing sail is out of the tent! It's been an early - very early - morning operation to bring the wing out from its assembly tent in San Diego. The early hour is essential to ensure calm conditions.
Under the direction of Tim Smyth (NZL), a small work crew gingerly moved the wing out to the parking lot - the first in a number of steps towards getting it attached to the boat.
