Our heroes

There's been a bit of grumbling around town over the past couple of days as the temperature in VLC has plummeted to around the freezing mark overnight. And that's from people like me, who get to go home and sleep in a warm bed every night.

So spare a thought for Magnus Clarke (CAN) and his team, who take over responsibility for the USA overnight.

These guys essentially sail the boat on its mooring every night when the wing sail is up. It's not a glamorous job by any means, but they are an absolutely vital part of our team.

Matthew Sheahan of Yachting World magazine in the UK wrote more about what Magnus and the guys do here.

Thanks guys!
